Admission

Admission is open to the candidates from open category and those sponsored by the coffee industry. All the candidates seeking admission including sponsored candidates will have to appear for an interview and sensory evaluation test. Final selection will be made by a committee on the basis of academic record, performance in the interview and sensory evaluation test.

Eligibility

Graduation in science for open category candidates. Any graduate degree for sponsored candidates from the industry. Preference will be given for the candidates sponsored by export / curing houses and coffee growers.

Foreign Students

Foreign students will be admitted both under the open & sponsored category. They should be well-versed in English language. Their admission is subject to the clearance by Government of India.

Fee

Registration/Admission fee and Tuition fee will be decided by the Board from time to time. The Board releases an advertisement in leading newspapers during April/May months and posts it on its website www.indiacoffee.org every year with details regarding last date, fee, etc.

At present, the selected candidates are required to pay a Registration/Admission fee of Rs. 5000 at the time of admission during the 1st trimester. A Tuition fee Rs.15,000 is payable before commencement of each trimester. For foreign students a fee of US$1750 inclusive of Tuition and Registration is payable for the entire course, at the time of admission.
