Invitation of proposals for making a short film on different coffee brewing methods

General conditions:

Proposals are invited from the established documentary/ ad filmmakers to make a short film on different coffee brewing methods. The basic objective of this documentary/ad film is to educate the public on coffee brewing, as a part of the ongoing promotional campaign of the Board.

The duration of the film will be 10 minutes with English narration, which covers different coffee brewing methods like filter coffee, Mocha Coffee, French Press, Espresso etc., apart from roasting and grinding methods.

The film should be of broadcast quality for Doordarshan, local TV channels and DVDs for sales promotion, which has to be in digital format including shooting, editing, graphics and with professional voice recording.

Terms & Conditions:  

  1. Concept & Script of film – will be provided by the Board.
  2. The following are the deliverables :- i)Final edited version in Beeta format for telecasting in TV Channels (10 copies),
    ii)Final edited version in DVD format ( 25 copies ) and
    iii)Raw Tapes and
  3. Copy right:- The above 3 deliverables will be the copy right of the Board.
  4. Cost:- Cost will include Shooting, Music, Equipments, Rental, Script / Narration (Male and Female), DVDs, and all other necessary items required for a documentary film making.
  5. Completion Time:- The short film of 10 minutes duration on beta format along with 25-DVDs complete in all respects shall be delivered by the firm in this office within 45 days from the date of issue of work order.
  6. Details of firm’s credentials focusing on their strength and experience in making such short films to be submitted.
  7. Payments:- 100% payment shall be made against the completion of the job within a period of 45 days.
  8. Income Tax:- Income Tax as applicable shall be deducted as per rules.
  9. Notwithstanding anything contained in these terms and conditions the competent authority for reasons to be recorded in writing may assign to a particular producer any programme under this scheme, should a contingent requirement arise.
  10. Coffee Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason thereof.
  11. Venue:-Quotations to be sent to the office of Secretary, Coffee Board, Bangalore-560001 and each proposal should be superscribed as ‘Proposals for making a short film on different coffee brewing methods’ in a sealed cover about your lowest rate of quotation, experience of similar kind of work, and the acceptance of the terms and conditions mentioned above. The representative of the Ad film/ documentary filmmakers may remain present at the time of opening of quotation, i.e. on 26.11.2007 at 3.30 p.m. at the above office.
