General conditions for submitting the web publishing proposals
Proposals are invited from the reputed and established web publishers to publish the micro-sites in seven Indian languages viz., Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi.
The proposals should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribed as “Proposal for Web publishing”, addressed to the Secretary, Coffee Board, No. 1, Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore 560 001, and so as to reach on or before 3 p.m. on 09.08.2007. The proposals will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the interested web publishers present.
The Chairman, Coffee Board, reserves the right of rejecting all or any one of the proposal without assigning any reason for so doing.
The acceptance of the proposal by the Chairman of the Coffee Board will be intimated to the concerned by the undersigned.
The interested web publisher agencies may submit their proposals along with the credentials as per format given in Annexure I. They also have to quote their lowest rates for undertaking web publishing.
The basic objective of this web publishing would form a part of generic promotional campaign to enhance the coffee consumption in India.
The objective is to remove the mis-conception about coffee drinking in the minds of beverage consumers and reassure them on health and the positive aspects of coffee drinking. The target group of this campaign is 18 – 30 years.
The proposing web publishers should be able to conceptualize, design and carry out the campaign in the web.
The criteria for selection of the web publishing agency will be based on the concept, design as well as cost effective pricing.
The agencies should have the capability to publish at least in three of the seven languages given above. The publishers should have e-mail and chat facilities in Indian languages.
The campaign is essentially on the awareness of the coffee drinking and does not involve any direct marketing on coffee. Therefore, the content will be more in generic nature.
