Methodology, Evaluation & Facilities
Teaching Methodology
The programme uses a variety of approaches in learning, in addition to the lectures and practicals on the concerned subject, to sensitise the student to the current liberalized market. The concepts of communication skills. PC utility, market research analysis are also introduced. National quality experts and master roaster/tasters from India and other countries will also participate in the programme for improving the cup taste skills of the participants. Emphasis is laid on imparting practical knowledge and working skills in quality assessment.
Evaluation & Grading Systems
Candidates are evaluated both in written & practical examination and assessed on grading system after completion of each trimester.
Campus & Hostel Rules
Accommodation will be provided to the candidates only during the second trimester at CCRI. Candidates should abide by campus & hostel rules of the Institute.
Library Facilities
Candidates selected for the course can avail the library facilities available at the Board's Head Office in Bangalore as well as at CCRI These libraries have a rich collection of books and periodicals on coffee and other plantation crops.
