Sub: Inviting Technical Bid/ Pre Qualification Bid and Financial Bid
for Printing & Supply of 'Indian Coffee' Journal in English &
Kannada as monthly and Tamil, Malayalam & Telugu Newsletter
as quarterly for a contract period of one years from April 2007 to
March 2008.

Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of the Chairman of the Coffee Board, Bangalore - 560 001 upto 3.00 p.m on 19.04.2007 by the undersigned from reputed printers having Offset printing press in Bangalore city for Printing and Supply of the journal "Indian Coffee" in English, Kannada as monthly and Tamil, Malayalam & Telugu Newsletter as quarterly for a contract period of one years from April 2007 to March 2008. The tender should be submitted to the undersigned in two sealed covers viz.,

(1) Technical Bid / Pre Qualification Bid

(2) Financial Bid.

The Tender Schedule can be obtained on requisition and payment of Rs.250/- (Non-refundable) as the cost of the blank tender form by cash or Demand draft upto 12.00 p.m on 19.04.2007. The sealed tender forms shall be received by the undersigned upto 3.00 p.m. on 19.04.2007. The sealed tender shall be accompanied by an EMD amounting to Rs.25,000-00 (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in the form of the Demand Draft in favour of "Coffee Board General Fund Non-Plan account No. 01000050081" purchased in any one of the Scheduled Banks payable at Bangalore along with a copy of the Registration Certificate, latest Income Tax clearance certificate and Sales Tax clearance certificate etc. The tenders received without the above enclosures will be summarily rejected.

The Technical Bids will be opened and the information furnished will be verified. Further, their printing premises will be inspected by a team of officials of the Board. The Financial Bids of those who qualify in the above Pre Qualification Bids will be opened thereafter. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m on 19.04.2007 in the presence of interested Tenderers present. The Chairman, Coffee Board reserves the right either to accept or reject all or any of the tenders without assigning any reason.
