Short Tender Notice
Sealed tenders are invited from reputed manufacturers/suppliers for preparing and supply to Coffee Board a total of 3 lakhs of top quality 100/120 ml. disposable cups made using of 195 gsm – ITC paper to serve hot coffee in the Board’s India Coffee Houses situated in Delhi, Bangalore etc. and for free sampling of hot coffee at exhibitions, conferences etc in India and abroad. The Coffee Board’s emblem and logo as per the enclosed layout will have to be printed in single colour on the outer surface of the paper cup.
The cups should be free from optical brightness agents (OBA), fluorescent whitening agent (FWA), elemental chlorine and heavy metals. The supply will have to be made at the Board’s Head Office in Bangalore.
Sealed tenders superscribed as “Tender for Supply of paper cups” should reach the undersigned latest by 3.00 pm on 3rd September, 2007. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of the tenderers present.
The successful tenderer to whom the work is entrusted with should manufacture the cups strictly in conformity to the above specifications and supply the cups at the Office of the Director of Promotion within 7 days from the date of placement of the work order failing which a deduction @ 10% on total costs per day would be made for the first three days beyond the 7th day and the Board reserves the right to reject the entire consignment for delay beyond the 10th day and/or for not adhering to the above mentioned quality specifications.
