Terms & Conditions

  1. A Demand Draft drawn in favour of Coffee Board General Fund A/c No.1 for an amount of Rs.15,000/- as caution deposit will have to be enclosed to the proposal in a sealed cover. The sealed cover with the quotation shall be addressed to the Secretary, Coffee Board, No.1, Dr.Ambedkar road, Bangalore – 560 001 with the marking – “ Sealed Quotation for purchase used articles ”. The sealed quotations shall reach the Assistant Secretary (Welfare) on or before 3.00 PM of 06.07.2009. The sealed quotations will be opened at 4.00 PM on the last day of receipt of the sealed quotations.
  2. Quotations without the caution deposit will not be considered for evaluation. The Demand Draft enclosed to rejected quotations will be returned only after ensuring the lifting of articles by the highest bidder and the caution deposit enclosed to the accepted quotation will be returned after the articles are transported from the premises without causing any damage to the property of Coffee Board.
  3. The bidder with the highest quotation will have to deposit the quoted price in the form of Demand Draft along with proof of identification of individual/firm within Two working days from the date of intimation of acceptance of the quotation. The permission letter to transport the articles will be issued after the receipt of the amount and verification of the proof of identification and the lifting of articles shall be initiated and completed on a single day within 2 days from the date of the issue of permission letter. Failing to lift the articles within two days the caution deposit will be forfeited and the tender proceedings will be cancelled.
  4. The quoted price shall be paid in total without deducting any amount.
  5. It is the responsibility of the bidder with the highest quote to take necessary permissions from concerned authorities for transportation of the articles.
  6. Utmost care should be taken to prevent accidental injuries to the personnel around the place during lifting of the articles. Also, there should not be any damage to the building of the Coffee Board while lifting or transporting the articles. If there is any damage to the building the same will have to be repaired at the cost of the bidder. The caution deposit will be refunded only after ensuring no damages/repair of damages.
  7. The Coffee Board will not take any responsibility for materials not lifted from the site after stipulated time.
  8. There shall not be any objection by the bidders for what ever reason after opening of the bids. The acceptance or rejection of the quote is at the discretion of the Chairman, Coffee Board.
