facility of receiving EPA manually will also continue
in addition to the proposed facility for filing of Export
Permit Application through Internet. |

The exporters
who have preferred to file an Export Permit Application
through Board's Website are not required to submit the
ICO Certificate of Origin as the same will be prepared
by the Board and issued along with Export Permit. However,
such of those exporters who wish to collect the EPA
in person, as is being done in the existing system,
should prepare and submit the ICO Certificate along
with EPA to enable the Board to issue the certificate
together with permit. |

The Exporters
who wish to submit their EPA in person, should hereafter
submit their EPA before 11.00 AM. They may collect the
Permits and ICO Certificates at 4.30 PM on the same
day. |

The Coffee Board
will facilitate the exporters to opt for collection
of the Permits and ICO Certificates either in person
or through courier on TO PAY service. |

The exporters
are required to file their shipment details through
Website immediately after shipment is effected and submit
the hard copies of post-shipment documents within 45
days from the date of issue of permit. Such of those
exporters who fail to file their shipment details after
shipment and submit the post-shipments documents within
45 days, their EPA will not be entertained for issuing
further permits. |

Facility for
seeking Extension/Cancellation of permit through Website
is also provided. |
In order to meet the increase in administrative expenditure
connected with the issue of Export Permit and ICO Certificate
of Origin, the cost of Certificate of Origin is revised from
Rs. 50/- to Rs. 150/- per set with immediate effect. However
the cost of Certificate of Origin per set will be Rs. 300/-
on Saturdays.
The application for registration for filing EPA through Website
should accompany the deposit amount in Demand Draft drawn
in favour of Coffee Board General Fund Account No. 1. In the
case of new and existing exporters, the minimum deposit will
be Rs. 5,000/-. The exporters who wish to file EPA through
Website, are required to deposit the amount half yearly before
31st May and 31st December of each year, in advance by way
of Demand Draft only. The amount to be deposited by the exporters
will be based on their number of Certificates of Origin to
be obtained by them during the ensuing half year.
The above online system will facilitate filing of an EPA,
seeking extension of permit issued, cancellation of permit,
filing of post-shipment details, obtaining the permit as well
as ICO Certificate twice a day at 1.00 PM and 4.30 PM in case
the EPA is made through Web, in addition to the option for
dispatching them through courier etc. Further the existing
system of receiving EPA manually will also continue in parallel
to system of filing an EPA through Web.
The exporters who wish to avail the above facility may register
with Coffee Board before 12/06/2001 to secure ID and Password.
An application is enclosed herewith which may be filled-up
and returned to the Exports Section of the Board along with
minimum deposit. The procedure for keying the EPA in the screen
formats in the Board's Website will be intimated while allotting
the ID and Password.
