Indian Coffee records with deep sorrow the sad demise of Ms. Soundarya, Member, Coffee Board in a tragic plane crash in Bangalore on March 17, 2004. Soundarya, one of the most glamorous and popular cine actresses of South India who acted in more than 100 films in her short 9 year film career was hardly 32 years at the time of her death. As member of the Coffee Board representing the consumer interests since April 2003 she actively involved herself with all the Board's consumer welfare and coffee promotion activities. She was loved and admired by one and all for her extreme grace and humility. Indian coffee conveys its heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
