Labour Welfare Measures


Educational stipends and meritorious awards sponsored by the Coffee Board to the children of labourers working in coffee plantations for the academic year 2005-06 was distributed at a function organized at SKMJ High School Auditorium, Kalpetta on 3rd June 2006. Sri P.C.Mohanan Master, Former Vice Chairman, Coffee Board, inaugurated and Sri K.A.Ashokan, Former Board Member presided over the function. Sri P. V. Vidhyadharan, VicePresident, All Kerala Small Coffee Growers Association, Smt Soudhmaini, Principal, SKMJ High School, Kalpetta and senior officers of the Board were present on thi occasion. Cheques for Rs.l,99,500 - as meritorious awards to 13: students, Rs.3,97,200/- a educational stipends to 331 student and Rs.2,37,500/- as donations tl 19 educational institutions wer, distributed at the function.
