- Handling, centering and desuckering, Removal and destruction of black rot affected twigs, leaves etc. Drenching spray with 1 5 Bordeaux mixture or 0.03% Bavistin 50 WP (Carbendazim) during break in the rain.
- Weeding
- Planting including supply planting - weather permitting
- Removal and burning of shot-hole borer infested twigs
- Nursery: Aftercare of seedlings
- Berry borer control measures as mentioned earlier.
NORTH-EAST MONSOON AREAS
- Dadap topping
- Planting dadap stakes, permanent shade seedlings and Coffee depending on weather conditions

South-West monsoon areas

- Planting, if weather permits
- Borer tracing
- Control measures against cockchafer, if necessary
- Removal and burning of shot-hole borer infested twigs.
North-East monsoon areas
